What's the best finish for quarry tiles?

I have some beautiful quarry tiles and want to know what the best finish is for them. They're in an area that's going to get a lot of wear. They're all very soft, pastel shades of peachy-pink and I don't want anything that's going to drastically change the colour. The finish needs to be breathable, to an extent, and I was thinking of using wax. Would that be OK? Or is there something better? Thanks

I don't speak from experience, but I should have thought that a floor wax would be fine. It will, of course, slightly change the colour - making it richer - but any clear finish is going to have a roughly similar effect.

Yes, that's what's happening with the beams I'm doing. The colour gets richer but not significantly changed. I don't mind that. What I didn't want was to change the colour by using something like Cardinal Red :shock: Do you think I could use Liberon's Liquid Beeswax, which is what I'm using on my beams, or will I need a specific floor wax?
