Hi we have had an internal leak from a outgoing soul pipe which has been replaced, I have taken off all the old plaster, it was soaking wet and I'm currently leaving the very thick stone wall to dry out over the coming months.
But when it is ready to plaster what's the best option, the outside wall has render on it so mostuire can't escape that way, I know my wall need to breath but do I put some sort of water resistant membrane first or does that stop all the wall from breathing?
Any suggestions please?
