Very Victorian I'd say, with modern roof tiles. Late Victorian, 1880-ish would be my best guess, but it does depend on where it is - where is it?

I would go with a Victorian monicker as well. The tower block looks almost like an addition.
My brief foray around the houses for sale in Redland last night brought up quite a few in this style; I was too tired to go off looking for more information on the architecture of the area.

I'll stick with late Victorian then, 1880-1900 or thereabouts. Nice looking house.

I need one myself, now - I was in Bristol early last month and walked though part of this area. I was intrigued by the architecture and intended to find out more. But then forgot - and I didn't know the name of the area. Many thanks!
ETA Looks as though you'll need to find a 2nd hand copy - should be possible in Bristol. It was only c£4 originally so won't upset the budget - or try the Library.
ETA 2 Nothing on ebay etc but the publishers have it (the article linked below might be much the same) Avon Local History and Archaeology...

I don't know where your house is but this might assist:
William Edwards retained the rest of the estate, some 78 acres, and raised a mortgage on it for £20,000 in Dec. 1883, quite possibly to pay for his move to the country. The area lying between Redland Road and Cranbrook Road was all owned by Edwards and this area was clearly ripe for development and the first houses were built in 1885, on Cranbrook Road. Edwards must have commissioned a general plan of the roads and plots, but thereafter it was left to individual builders to come forward with plans, usually for two or three at a time, to minimise their risk. The general pattern of development was that the first plots to be released were closest to Zetland Road, although at least one house was being built on Carnarvon Road in 1890, and the builders worked their way up the hill, not quite completing the estate before the hiatus caused by the Great War
