What Brick or block

I have a 17th C timber frame building; now that I have cleared off the concrete rough cast and exposed the timbers and brick in-fill panels, there are a few that are open to the plaster inside.
Do any of you know of a light weight brick or material that I can use to in fill the voids, that I can lime or breathable render?

Wattle and daub?

Hemcrete?

Is this building listed though?

Nice Idea; but it may not work the same, as the rest of the building is brick work.

I immagine different materials will act differently with a render.

Hemcrete is now supposed to be available as structural or non-structural blocks (see http://www.buildingtalk.com/news/lim/lim104.html) - however, I've not seen any suppliers offering them.

Is it listed? If so, what does the CO say?

If you want it to work the same, replace like with like!

But hempcrete may be worth exploring. If you are redoing discrete panels then rendering voer the whole thing, I don't know what the problem is with a different infill?
