What about the gap between door frame and wall?

It will be plastered up to EVENTUALLY!!!!
So should I use lime mortar?
or
Should I use sand and oil in this gap as well? while I'm doing the windows!!!!

If it's a big gap, I use lime mortar and scrunched-up galvanised chicken wire, a medium gap just lime mortar and a small one (thinner than a match) warrants a slurry of thick limewash and fine sand. I haven't used oily mastic for door frames yet.

It varies going up the wall as you can imagine. I'll use lime mortar. I have some of the wire mesh for going over the electrics which I could utilise in the larger parts of the gap, or might that be to springy?
