Water in wall?

Where does one start to diagnose this properly? Just had the chimney repointed as was told by a roofer that was the cause, it’s still growing a little after a downpour.

Top floor of house to the right of a chimney stack.

Flashing is apparently ok.

Get another few roofers around I guess.

Post some photos of the same wall from outside. Normally it'll be something like a gutter overflowing over a wall that can let water in but not out.

I would but it’s 5 floors up.

Camera drones are under £50 now, cheaper than a ladder / scaffold

Those nasty cheap ones would end up there for good. Did have a roofer pop by, got his stuck. Didn't see him again. I'll get that one going.
