For ages I have been stripping some horrible old lacquer from the internal door and panel frame from hall to kitchen. The door has recessed panels and the panelling goes through a 17" wall, so there's been a lot of gunk to remove from the nicely shaped architrave. Today I made t'other half very happy as, at last, I have applied the first top coat to the whole thing. The paint is water based eggshell which dries pretty quickly; wanting to relax at last, I just found there's nothing on TV right now, so I have been literally "watching the paint dry"!
