Volunteers needed to preview new PPUK website design

Oh bluddy hell - just when you start to get used to this one the buggers notionally in charge (!!!) want to change it all again...

I think I will apply to have this one listed, or at least declared a Conservation Area.

See sticky at top...

(I liked the old site much better... and it wasn't 1999 it all changed surely?)

It looks like the whole website design, rather than just the forum.

I can't even remember how long I've been visiting this site now. Pity all the old posts have gone (well not a pity about some of them...)

Ian is correct. We are talking about a site re-design not any additional improvements to the forum.

The design of the site today has been the same since its launch in 1999, except for a change on the homepage header where some images of properties have been removed.

Why not join in and sign-up to provide some feedback.

Nah - I'm an old stick in the mud, I liked the old forum and the old header which had pretty pics of Period Property.

The colours were nicer too...

Actually, if you know where to look many an elderly thread can be brought up by the Great God Google.

He was wrong. I gave up voting years ago as there was no-one I wished to vote for any longer. I can still moan about the elected.

Life is never as simple as some would like it to be.

I suspect also that the site redesign is well underway, and it will only be re-arranging the furniture a little which is required, under the guise of 'consultation'.

I'm currently dividing my afternoon amongst the following: writing a long submission to the DCMS which is overdue, on a subject on which I do have a fair amount of expertise, writing an objection to the ruination of a group of buildings ditto, potting up my sweet peas, ...........
