I suppose he did a bit for the cause of Victorian Gothic by populating deteriorating mansions with naughty schoolgirls (Joce, where are you?). I sa to my freind Penners that he is the embodyment of Molesworth, chiz chiz.

Didn't burn down the school, but did get expelled. And had all the outfits - I cut holes in the school hat and turned the brim down to wear it as a cloche.

Anyway that WAS a very moving interview, what a glorious man - I love the continuous sipping of rose champagne as "engine oil" for the drawings. How interesting that although everyone must have heard of St Trinians, Ronald Searle is not a household name at all.

I'll get hold of Molesworth, I haven't read that. But surely Penners' spelling is rather more even?

I am the curse of st custards but at least I am not uterly wet and a weed like Fotherington-Thomas, who sa helo clouds helo sky. That is like life i supose chiz moan grone.

In my view the most inaccurate of Molesworth's opinions is "Grown ups are what's left when skool is finished".

I live to refute that statement cheers cheers cheers.
