Hi all. I've got nice new, plain, openings for doors, no casings or anything - 78" x 32", 5" deep - and I want to put in ledge doors hung on HL hinges. Can someone describe the best way to build the casing so there's enough depth to mount the hinge on?
I suspect that it's either couple of inches all round to take it down to a 28" door, or face with 5x1", then come in with 2" - but then it seems like it'll be all casing and little door!
I've got 3 existing doors from next door when they rennovated theirs - typical period property consitency: 1 @ 28", 1@ 27" and 1 @ 26" ! So I've got options on how to go about this...
Anyone got any views or opnions (hah! silly question ) on what I should do??
