What a fabulous atmosphere they have created.
Far far away from the hideous 'white space' and modern furniture that too many owners inflict on their period houses.
Love how they appear to have left some bare lath in the third pic.

And all those books, and no flat-screen telly to be seen. Excellent.

For me, just the kitchen needs some antiquing.

Very nice! So nice to see beams that aren't smothered in black gloss and fitted carpets from wall to wall.

I noticed in one picture that they have some sort of 'panelling' - is that kind of thing potentially authentic? All the panelling I have seen is rather too grand for small cottages and seeing this I'm wondering if it could be a possible answer to my insulation dilemma.

Would kill for a look at next-door (have even googled to see if there are some long-lost Rightmove pics about )
