Basically as per title!
Unfortunately we don't have original flags as I at one point thought ...
So back to plan A - digging a channel around the perimeter of room, replastering bottom half's of walls in lime - and laying tiles that can breathe.
Looking for as close to orginal looking flagstones as possible - but the tiny square samples Ive got from online aren't that great to visualise from.
I like the look of Whitehall 'old farmhouse green' flags - but the glossy internet pics are enticing, but Hereford is a hell of a journey.
Has anybody had any success and experience and even better pixtures?!
We are a tiny mill workers cottage 1850s so think Yorkshire flagstones type would have been the original ...
