Should I paint the windows or drink the tea and eat the kitkat?

As tempting as that kitkat is, I'm afraid as a dieting, non-tea drinker I had to vote for painting the windows :lol:

Surely if you do a good job painting you will have earned the reward of the kitkat......(and the tea, I guess )

Drink the tea.

The paint will be there tomorrow, while the tea will have gone cold.

It's the old management training thing of priority versus importance (or something like that; I never quite got the hang of it).

what sort of Kit Kat is that? it looks like either a licensed supermarket economy version, or a licensed hand-crafted artisan version, I can't quite make out what's written on the packet and what typographical choices have been made, which would solve the problem.

It's a Strawberry KitKat Gareth, have you not seen them before?
I have them specially shipped in from her Ladyship in Singapore.
Plain chocolate and biscuit is so last year!!!

I ate the kitkat and drank the tea, but today I have a similar dilema........... but I believe I have a solution.

This morning I get all the paperwork, emails etc out of the way, eat lunch, clear kitchen and I can paint and watch the rugby at the same time.

Jo's away so no moaning, well not until she comes home tomorrow and finds windows everywhere

Been there, got the bruises.

It needs immense self-control: promise yourself the reward of a cuppa and a Kit-Kat after the painting is done.

Well, actually, promise yourself a pint and a pie after the painting is done.

oh dear, tea is already brewing, not sure I can leave it to make a start on the windows just yet...............bit more organising to do before rugby, such as booking lime plasterer!!

It's still too cold for linseed paint to dry quickly, so I suggest tea and Kit_Kats for at least another couple of months.

I'm doing the painting indoors, which is why I'm going to use the kitchen, constant warmth from the rayburn

I have finished painting first coat of all the windows so far made.
Give them a couple of days to dry off and then it all starts again.

As a bonus I've mended the broken landrover so that I can take the broken washing machine to the repair shop!!

:lol: It wouldn't be a stable business model unfortunately. They only have the strange flavours occasionally. I think the supermarkets bring them in from Japan. I have been searching for them recently as I'm on my way over in the first week of April, but, so far nada, just the ordinary sort of KitKats. Still a couple of weeks to go though.
