I was investigating freelance writing work as a potential home based career a little while ago and came across adverts for "blog writers" who were expected to "post 200-300 articles a day" for pay of a few dollars. I think these people simple register a disposable email address and copy and paste the same or similar responses into hundreds of fora a day. Presumably when limits are imposed to stop links and signature spam they just hit submit and move on...
