Hi we are having the Yorkshire stove made by Dunsley fitted into our cottage in Devon later this week, just wondered if anyone else has this stove and how well it performs ? Thanks
I have one of their wood burners, the mid range one 5Kw? Don't know what to say about it, it certainly burns wood and coal. Before the stove pipe was fitted I had the SS flue liner going straight into the top of the stove and it caused the top Rh. side of the door to smoke up. Dunsleys were very co-operative in trying to help me with this problem - even sent another piece of metal to try. The air controls are too coarse when burning the smokeless coal eggs and the door latch has rusted up, so its stiff to open, should have been lubricated on assembly with a copper based grease.
Its agricultural engineering, but its 40% the price of other fires.
