For months, I have been telling my espoused that I wanted to watch Love Actually on the Chesterfield in his study on Christmas Day. The room remained neglected and unfinished until December and on Christmas Eve the floor still wasn't done.. but wow, the clean with vinegar then shellac then wax treatment produced a floor that has all the beautiful natural colour and woodgrain and looks stunning

So what's your favourite wow factor piece of restoration ?

Shame I can't fill all the cracks with lime mortar.

Sorry, I wanted to answer your question, and even dug out the camera. Then I struggled to come up with a 'wow' example to list.
