Do you think the council just did that to the windows so that it looked ok for visitors to the capital of culture blah blah thing?

The houses are on a really wide and imposing road leading in to liverpool, I was gutted when I drove down it recently.

What a sad end to this story, more and wider roads? , do they really need that? , blocks of boring flats!, I weep for Liverpool !

Especially as those roads are already fast and wide. It doesn't make any sense at all.
