The new National Self-Build & Renovation Centre

I don't know what this place is going to be like, in terms of "period-property-friendly" materials and techniques, but I thought it might interest some of you.

National Self-Build & Renovation Centre.

If anyone does visit the place, I (and perhaps others) would be very grateful for any comments, observations, criticisms, etc., posted here.

So... who's for a day out to Swindon, eh? :?

I have a day where I'm apparently attending the Romantic Novellists' Awards lunch at the Savoy, then heading to Harrogate (I think) for the Yorks and Humber Microgeneration Awards for dinner. I'll try to fit in a visit on the way from one to the other. It would fill the day out nicely!

I suspect the key is the use of 'Renovation' and the absence of words like Renovation or Lime.

Swindon isn't exactly an easy diversion from a London/York route.
