In 2011, I was looking for some 2" downpipe to repair an old corroded section of tin pipe on our previous house. No joy. Eventually, a seller kindly referred me to Longbottom.
At the time they weren't on t'Web. An unhurried Yorkshire voice took my order.
They aren't really on t'Web now. Let's say they have a web presence.

I want some 3" gutter and 2" pipe for the back of our cottage.
They have it.

Later, I shall need a manhole cover & surround. Some prat in the 60s laid the drainage with no intercept chamber. I see Longbottom have 244 variants.

On Monday, I shall telephone. No email address. It seems appropriate to use the candlestick.

I believe that in both of the recent threads asking about gratings, the Longbottoms recommendation was made.
I phoned them to enquire about gratings, and they were very helpful, had something suitable, and were able to give me the price there and then over the phone.

They're excellent, I've used them for a few obscure fittings now. Very helpful, and they carry a massive range.

They are however not in the modern age for processing your order - phone up and ask for a (delightfully old-fashioned) catalogue to be posted to you, then when you've decided what you want phone up again to get a final price including P&P and place an order, then send them a cheque in the post before they'll send your order out - none of this new-fangled "credit card over the phone" m'larkey.

Not a firm to use if you want something sent overnight in a hurry!
