I heard You and Yours on Radio 4 this am (friday) a Biff Vernon was giving the times of buses for those of us old enough to use the new national free local bus travel cards.
It's not the most common name on the planet, so was it "our" Biff Vernon?

Yes, sorry for introducing a new thread (can there be too many?) re THE Mr Vernon. I got carried away with my new Broadbandy thing and being able to read PP stuff after 11 months away.
However, I think the Y&Y prog was a tadd too sniffy.
