Santa had brought my present early, and despite being tempted to ask him to re think the gift after Sonya posted the picture of her very lovely vacuum cleaner, I decided that on balance I would rather have something sparkly to wear. Of course His Lordship wanted elephants! He didn't specify exactly what sort, so to be on the safe side I got him a pair of antique lacquered and gilded ones and a few to hang on the Christmas tree.

Wishing everyone here ( and I'm going to include all the lurkers..... you know who you are :lol: ) a very Merry Christmas and the very very best for 2013.

A very very happy Christmas to all, hope today is rewarding all the hard work of the year, the draughts have been stopped up, the fires are burning, the tables and tummies are groaning!

I'd have posted before but our phone line seems moribund, so I wasn't sure if PPUKe was down or it was us. An engineer is coming, worst case, there's something wrong in the field - the perils of living in an isolated position! Let's hope it's up and running soon so I can also get my fix of the lovely forum postings. Anyway, all is well at BC, and I got my Christmas present of Ems and Horry ( new kittens) falling in love. Today was their first cuddle! Kitten babies next year. Happy Christmas everyone! Xxxxxxxx
