Hello Everyone.
This is my first post on the forum so I would like to introduce myself. My name is Beth, I am an information management consultant and period house enthusiast, and I have just placed an offer on a rather lovely Victorian house in Melksham, near Bath. It's in pretty good condition, and seems to have survived the years relatively unscathed by awkward modernisation so I'm looking for a surveyor who will be sympathetic to that and not recommend anything frightful like injectable damp proof courses, replastering with "waterproof" plaster or repointing in cement. Does anyone have any suggestions for good surveyors in the area?
Thanks for your help,
Beth
