Hi there,
I am looking for some advice please regarding possible solutions for this issue.
I have recently bought a stone cottage in auction. I don’t know much about the history of the building.
The problem is that the rear building - originally was a stable but had subsequently been converted to the main kitchen.
I believe that the internal walls have been tanked with a plastic bubble wrap type material then plasterboard and plastered.
However, I have concerns for the earth that is practically half way up the external wall.
My boundary is the actual wall itself- however the neighbour whom owns the land next to me is willing to allow me to do something to help the matter.
The reroof is already booked in.
This was to ask specifically about external wall.
Thank you in advance for any help
