Jaqy tends to go quiet for lengthy periods - I assume because she and Steve are up to their eyes in the latest phase of work.
As for caravan-dwelling in cold weather, I shouldn't worry about them too much. Mrs P and I spent four years in a caravan. One of our winters was the coldest recorded since the dawn of the universe, but we were toasty warm so long as we kept our little sold-fuel stove going.
Why not try sending Jaqy a PM?
