Stained cast bath

Since this is my first posting on the forum, I would like to start by saying Hello to everyone.

I am currently renovating a semi detached victorian house in Scotland.

I plan on keeping the existing cast iron bath but it has a horrible yellow stain, which runs round the middle section of the bath.

Does anyone know of any good cleaning agents/products or procedures to cure this problem and return the bath to it's natural white colour?

I haven't any idea what this is like but a google search brought it up, may be worth investigating:

I also believe Jenolite produces a stain remover.

Obviously try a tiny test area first or you could end up with damaged enamel.

If all else fails I know there are cleaning and polishing services which may be able to reduce the stain.
