How do I stabilise this, on the inside of my porch?
Other side, which is in better condition, looks like this:
The crack is not really wide enough to enable much to be squirted in but it does need stabilising. If it were flat stucco it could easily be made again from scratch, but these mouldings are quite complex and would be a pain to reproduce.
The third photo suggests to me that the innermost section of architrave moulding was modelled on a bench and then fixed in place as it would have been a b****r to run it in situ and then form the corner with mitre rules. If so, would my best bet be to try to take the loose section down, clean it up and then refix it in place?
This would have the benefit of enabling me more easily to make a profile for mending other parts:
