SPAB Lime Course

Has anyone done one of the SPAB weekend Lime courses?
How did you find it?
Does it really help for someone who has no experience in Lime plastering - in fact in any sort of plastering?
It doesn't list Indoor pastering as one of the main topics, but they tell me it is covered.

Would I be better off putting the £150 towards a Lime Plasterer?

I need to consider I have about 500 sq ft of plastering to do in the Kitchen and then there is the rest of the house as we move through, so a plasterer is going to be expensive......... but so is my time and lime falling off walls when you've got a nice new kitchen ready to be built and put in <IMG SRC="http://www.periodproperty.co.uk/discussing/smileys/smile.gif" BORDER=0 ALT="">

Do you mean a Homeowner's weekend, or the courses for 'modern' plasterers wishing to learn about lime plastering?

It's called
SPAB Lime / plastering course
It only deals with Lime and working with lime.

Here's details of day 1.

Many thanks, that's much better than the info SPAB sent me and the small amount I found on their site.
I'm much more excited about it now and am going to book my place.
