BEN has been STOLEN
Urgent. Please crosspost as far as possible
Louise Amos, who is the shepherdess at Ashdown Forest, has had her Landrover and black and white sheepdog BEN, aged 12yrs, stolen 2hrs ago from the Ashdown Forest (East Sussex) while her assistant was locking the gate. Someone ran up and jumped in then drove away. White landrover REG R1 SWS with 'Ashdown Forest' written on it along with an Ifor Williams sheep trailer.

Strange how this request has gone all over the internet but hasn't actually made it to Louise Amos's website. As she regularily updates her website, I think it would be something she would likely have done.

Something doesn't quite add up, though if the dog/Landrover has been stolen then I hope they are returned quickly.

That is probably because she is out on foot and on road looking for him.
And it is lambing time so pretty busy for sitting on forums,

"I was given Ben by Alan Heaton at the English National Trials in 2007. Alan was unable to give him the work he needed so he offered him to me to help out on the project. He was quite unfit when I got him, and he is quite old! But he has come up to fitness really well, and since going to live with my assistant Phil, he has gone from strength to strength. Other daughter has bought me a huge block of fudge from the sweetie shop at Albert Dock as she was working at Echo Arena this morning. Yum.


Son rang to say he is too busy to get it yet but he has got a really good idea. As he bought me a blu ray dvd player for xmas I am excited about what else he can think of.
