Sorry but its damp again!

Im being nosey but -has anyone come across or had any dealings with this (I wont mention the actual name) Dutch Damp Proofing System thats being heavily promoted in the national papers.

Claims to solve all kinds of damp problems :!:

Can't see how it works myself, but would be interested to hear opinions from others.

I've seen the ads. No idea of its effectiveness, but I'm sceptical.

Ive seen a fairly long technical report which said it was rubbish.

Ive seen two houses that had it fitted, and were very damp...

I think Damp Dr, Dr Damp whatever has an articel on his web site.

I view and evaluate all kind of adverts in the same light that I perceive those adverts to do with anti-ageing creams.

My views will only be swayed when the twenty year old female model's face used in the promotional brochure is actually her great gran mother's.

The proof should be in the pudding.
