By the time S Beeny got to Bristol, they'd already ripped out fireplaces ceilings and floors.

Yes, I could hardly believe my ears when they said they'd pulled evrything out---- and got away with it to boot.

It was the final shots with the modern cupboard installed to hide the old range that I just couldn't comprehend! But at least it is still there, unlike the fireplaces...

I almost cried... the range they had was beautiful.. people like that should be banned from owning a period property!
When we bought our house it was all of those things that made me fall in love with it the old cooking range in the fireplace in the dining room, the washtub, cast iron fires in the bedrooms, beams, and such.. a thing of beauty is a joy forever if looked after... i wanted to put my fist through the tv screen and throttle them and i am not a violent woman honestly! :roll: :roll: ...
