Evelyn - I just saw your post about Smithfield and looked at the BBC. Missed this as have been away on hols. Thats fantastic news!

Are Thornfield/City going to try to reverse this decision or is Ms Blears the final word?

I saw this newsline this morning:

"Thornfield appoints new architect for Smithfield scheme (Property Wk) - Thornfield Properties has appointed a new architecture team to redesign its plans for Smithfield Mkt in the City of London replacing architect Kohn Pedersen Fox. Architect John McAslan & Partners has been appointed to ‘bring fwd fresh proposals’ for its Smithfield estate, in the City of London. It follows the rejection of Thornfield & KPF’s scheme in Aug by Secretary of State Hazel Blears."
