Hi,
Recently I've been getting an unpleasant sulphur/eggy smell when I run cold water in the morning. It doesn't recur until the next day. Running hot water doesn't cause the smell so I reckon that rules out bad rods in the heater.
Water is fine to look at and taste so I suspect that it is some sort of "gas" build up over night.
I live in a very small village and at this time of the year all the holiday cottages are empty, could the lack of people running water be causing it to "stagnate"? Any ideas or simular experiences would be a help.
Cheers
David Goff
