Shenley Common Farm "reduced to rubble"

Shenley Common Farmhouse (yes, there are old buildings in Milton Keynes....), grade 2 listed, has been allowed to crumble (see http://www.miltonkeynes.co.uk/news/Anger-as-historic-farmhouse-is.4062804.jp).
One of the usual suspects - Persimmon Homes - are the owners. Of course, I'm not suggesting that they did this deliberately :wink:
MK Council, on the ball as usual, say they'll have a look, later this week.

How depressing. One of the things I loved about living in Milton Keynes for many years was unexpectedly coming across old houses within the newer estates. There are some lovely listed cottages in Shenley (as well as the original Milton Keynes village of course).
