I've just discovered, in what I believe is known as Another Place*, that the lovely Mrs Plummer has been celebrating a birthday.
So may I be the first to wish her belated, but nonetheless heartfelt, best wishes.

Shhhhhh!!!!! I believe that, rather than being parliamentary in origin, use of the term here derives more from the use of "Another Place" or "The Other Place" to describe whichever of the two universities one did not attend* - the dread fear that Another Place might actually be more fun than here prevents our naming it in order that those who are not aware of its existence do not desert us in droves.

*In my case, neither

Anyway, I've wished Mrs P a Happy Birthday in Another Place, but am happy to do so again here.
