Hi everyone:
I had a rude awakening today when I was shopping for bathroom lighting. Given the need for using IP rated fixtures, I looked at John Lewis, Astro and one other (can't recall name). Why is everything so tiny? And, so utterly unattractive?
I was really hoping for some art deco / early 20th century styles, but no. It seems as though there are only 2 companies that make these products, Astro being one of them.
Help
Given that i have 3.2m ceilings in my bathroom (about 3.7m x 2.3m), I had hoped to not have to use down lighters (ceiling lights). I really do not like them, and since the previous owner installed them, I have that opportunity to use them, but I am trying hard to avoid it. So, I hoped I could get a 'period' chandelier, but of course, there's the IP rating issue, so guess not.
So, bottom line: Please, please... if anyone knows of a source for a variety of IP rated fixtures, please share
Thanks!
