We have a solid fuel stove with glass windows. The gaskets which are meant to seal the windows tend to break up, leak and are expensive to replace - they are white flat affairs, not the rope type.
S****f*x and others sell a silicone sealant which will resist temperatures up to 300 deg. C
Will this be adequate for the job?
