Suddenly I keep coming across organisations called SAVE. It seems you can save a disparate bunch of stuff - black spoonbills, fluffy creatures, or money - through "value engineering" (whatever that is).

SAVE International is :

"the premier international society devoted to the advancement and promotion of the value methodology (also called value engineering, value analysis or value management)"

Now that makes sense to me - definitly worth saving!

Maybe SAVE should have copyrighted the name (and SAVE Europe's Heritage) all those years ago.
