Hi, I'm having new sash and case windows fitted. They'll be double glazed and natural wood inside and painted white on the outside.
Couple of questions:
The joiner has asked if I want to have cord or a bar at the side for sliding the windows up and down. Can anyone advise which looks best.
Also, fittings. The house is Victorian and he's asked if I want brass or chrome. I think traditionally it would have been brass?
He's also saying that there's another part at the side of the window can be brass, chrome or white and I can choose. Don't know what the part is called but if you know any advice on what would look best?
Thanks, Dianne
