Hi all
We are now beginning the decorating phase of our bedroom.
The ceiling has been plasterboarded and has gypsum skim.
The walls are original lime plastered, good condition except some bits cane off with the old wallpaper which I will patch up with some polyfilla.
Just wondering if I should clean the like plaster walls before adding lining paper to paint on.
If so, how do I clean the walls?
Also, how do I sand down the gypsum skim on the ceiling? There’s a couple of small spots where it’s not 100% smooth. I don’t know what kind of sander to use.
I’m also hoping to use the sander in another room where we had a patchwork of gypsum plaster done. I wanted to blend it better into the rest of the wall.
Any recommendation would be so helpful. Thank you
