Yes, I saw that news. I wonder if it makes my 1998 9-5 (first owned by the Earl of Verulam) worth more or just makes it worthless?
My bet is on the latter.

Damn, I've had my 99 9-5 for 8yrs, I've been wanting to upgrade it to a newer model for a while, but was waiting for more positive news

apparently gm (vauxhall) bought saab many years ago and based the 900/9.3 on a cavalier. the ng (gm) saab 900's are on a calibra chassis?

that was when this , what some describe as a real saab,

became this ,what some describe as a vauxhall.

Saabs slogan"born from jets"is not quite correct as they started with props,the saab airliner is not a crash,they just forgot to have someone on board to put the brakes on when they pushed it out of the hanger!
