Looks like you need to buy it directly from them, see their link below. I did not see a list of distributors on their site but they may supply a name of someone in your area if you get in touch with them.
All Rose of Jericho paint is handmade to order and can currently only be ordered directly from the workshop at Horchester Farm in Dorset. Phone number is 01935 83676 and the normal turn around is 2-3 days. Equally you would be very welcome to visit the works.
Standard colours are on the website but hand painted colour charts can be sent on request. Other colours can be matched either to a sample or to another manufacturers colour chart.
Received a colour chart from Rose of Jericho and I must admit I love the colours but my main concern is how hard wearing they are. We used claypaint in the kitchen and used their breathable wall glaze to help with its durability. We have an Irish wolfhound who loves to lay with her legs on the wall so we need to be able to wipe the wall on a regular basis and life is far too short to constantly be worrying.
The durability of the finish will depend on what type of paint you choose. The more permeable a paint is generally the less durable it will be in terms of rubbing or wiping. Pure Limewash will give greatest permeability but by nature will be less durable.
The more ‘traditional’ the recipe generally the less durable the finish.
Soft Distemper is essentially chalk/china clay, gelatin/size and water and is an entirely reversible paint with one of its key benefits being its ease of removal from fine decorative surfaces to avoid build up of paint and loss of detail. As such it would generally be used for ceilings or low traffic areas.
The addition of natural additives to distemper such as casein or linseed oil increase the durability and oil bound distemper should be wipeable in most scenarios. Casein distemper is widely used on walls.
Some products marketed as limewash by some manufacturers have additional additives (acrylic etc) to improve durability but this significantly undermines their purpose and permeability.
Rose of Jericho also produce permeable matt emulsion and modern vinyl emulsion in the full range of colours for areas where permeability is not essential.
You could try Earthborns wall glaze over a distemper for example to aid peace of mind regarding rubbing.
I may see if I can get a small sample to try and then try the glaze over it as I did usethe glaze over another type of paint and it didn’t do too well.
