I moved into to a renovate 1920's house that had a new roof only 3 years ago and facia boards etc (I assume over the existing wood).
Have noticed recently that the backing on white section is peeling at the lower section of some kind of material although no water ingress in bay yet- any idea what this could be? (it aligns with the internal pics where there is lighter patch . The external pics are from pre renovation 2012 & recent to compare with the renovated although you can't see the peeling on photos it is just above the horizontal bar.
Would be a roofer to look for to try and rectify this , or joiner ... I want to do something reasonably sensitive to the property - it seems like overboard or fascia or whatever it's called is just covering up up the condition of original wood and could hide problems although from the internal photos I don't think wood looks in too bad condition.
