Last night on Channel 4.

How did they manage to rennovate a Medieval Manor house for £68,000.00!!!!!!!!!!!!It looked as if they'd had the roof off,lime plastered and limewashed outside walls.Who did they get to do the work.Maybe he paid them in props?

Am I missing the knack?

Looking on the web site shows lots of help from a local firm so not all his staff!

It made me smile. Clearly a man with money and married into a monied family. No problem living with the in-laws for four years. What a beautiful property, but what sort of person are you that then goes for a suit of armour in your hall? Or was it a temporary prop for the big party? Vicky
