Hi All
Opinions please on whether this is lime render or cement render covering one side of the ground floor of the property containing a kitchen. Description of render it is pretty sold and appears to be have embedded within a metallic meshwork which was affixed to the wall.
I suspect with my novice eyes it is cement render in which case it is coming off. However, in the remotest of possibilities that it is lime off course it will be staying put.
Essentially what is/are the distinguishing feature(s) that determines which type of render it is- lime or cement?
As always, thank you for your words of wisdom.
