Hi,
We have just moved to a grade II listed cottage; the front is 16th C but the back is a mixture of 20th C additions. There are 2 pink 1970's sinks in the bedrooms on the modern side of the house that are tatty and will never be used.
Any idea if we need to have consent to remove them? We know that listing protects the whole of the property but it would be rather annoying to have to ask for consent to remove outdated eye-sores from rooms built quite recently. We would take touching anything in the 16th C part of the house very seriously meantime.
I'm sure over time our experience will help us work out what needs consent and what doesn't but we wonder if anyone else has faced a similar dilemma and what they did!
Thank you.
