Recommendations for stone slate roofer (South West)

Hello everyone,

I haven't posted in quite a while (I like the new forum software!!). We are still 'almost there' with our plans to convert 2 outbuildings but a new problem has raised its head. Our roofer has fallen off a roof in the job before ours and whilst (thankfully) he will make a complete recovery I have no idea when he will be able to start work because I haven't been able to reach him on the phone in over a month. I'd like to stick by him, if possible, because the quality of work is excellent but I have to look for a back up plan. So, does anyone know a 'one man band' or similar specialising in stone slate roofs. I've looked in the 'seeking specialist' section of the site but I'm really after a personal recommendation - you can't beat 'em.
