I know this is really basic but please could someone spell out to me why it's not recommended to seal a stone externally-facing wall of a house on the inside?
When rainwater gets into the wall from the outside, why can't it just come through, hit the impervious layer on teh inside and turn right round and go back out again?
thanks again
