We have recently bought a second hand solid fuel rayburn royal. The enamel on the top needs repairing as there is a patch missing, does anyone have any advice about what we could use and where it can be purchased?
Our Esse range was supplied new with a little pot of enamel touch-up paint. Maybe Rayburn have the same sort of thing that they could supply you with. Have you asked them?

Depending on the colour, you can buy enamel touch-up paint from hardware stores, but it might not be suitable for things that get hot, ie the top of a Rayburn.
You can have Rayburn parts re-enameled, but you probably don't want to go that far? This link is only an example (not a promotion):

My Rayburn has a black top (in OK condition) and cream everywhere else. The cream front it pretty shabby and I was considering something like heat-proof matt black paint to give it a makeover - they make stuff, in aerosols as well as pots, for stoves and barbecues.
But I suspect that life is too short, and I'll find something else to do with my time.
