Question about 'brick' tiles

We are about to start tiling a bathroom and intend to use the brick-shaped tiles with a slightly bevelled edge.

The surface of the tiles has a white or black glaze, but the edges are unglazed and are the teracotta colour.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to finish an external corner? I don't want the edge of the tile showing (as the colour wouldn't match). This must have been done before....but I just can't work out how

I've looked at tile edging, but due to the bevel on the brick tiles, they all sit proud of the tile and don't look right

You could mitre the end of each tile. Sounds a pig of a job, but if you have a little tile cutting table saw, not so bad.

Best solution was turning round the cut tile so the broken edge is within the tiling. This isn't ideal though if you have bevelled tiles. The tiling show recommended a plastic strip of edging. It's not a great solution either though. Best solution would be if the tile manufacturers made half tiles for this very problem as I'm sure everyone must be faced with it...

Please let me know if you have a brainwave...

Thanks for the advice, as you say the internal corners are not too much of a problem.....we did look at the edging strips for external corners (some are much improved on the plasticky versions I thought we would have to use).

In the end, we purchased some ceramic corner tiles (look like an 'L' shape) and our tiler has fitted these on top of the brick tiles to provide a decorative corner. With the brick tiles in white and the floor checkerboard, we went for a black corner tile and I have to say it looks really good.....glad we opted for this rather than leaving them cut.

Can't understand why the manufacturers don't make half tiles...everyone must have this problem
