I understand that there is an original quarry tiled floor in the kitchen of our new house. Originally, I thought that they were covered only by a layer of carpet type tiles and have already seen some advice on how to restore them from underneath such a layer - no probs! However, I now discover that they are actually buried under a further layer of lino (not tiles, but a laid piece) fully adhesive and probably the only item in our house that has been installed for any lasting power!.
Having experimented with lifting the only available unstuck corner and seeing how far I could get, I think I might have to resort to scraping it off - any tips on what sort of tool to use please? I'm afraid of scratching the tiles underneath if I use anything with a metal edge.
Thanks
